Name: Isabelle Krog, Kindergarten

Parents: Adam and Ashley Krog; Siblings: Elijah, Ezra, and Iris 

Comments: Isabelle always comes to school with a sunny attitude and an eagerness for learning. She is a good example to others as she follows directions and does her best with whatever we’re doing. She has a delightful personality and I love her creativity! Her classmates voted for her to be our Student of the Month. They seem to appreciate her kindness and good manners as much as I do. One student said “I like Isabelle because she is nice to everyone.” Another said “I like Isabelle because she is polite always.” Congratulations Isabelle! “Isabelle is a good singer and is always a good listener!”

 

Name: Trevor Bjerke, Grade 1 

Parents: Shani Shriver, Bradley Bjerke; Sibling: Alexine Bjerke

Comments: Trevor comes to school happy, excited, prepared and ready to work. He is a very good friend to all his classmates. He is willing share, take turns, and help others. He works hard in school. He likes to ask questions, and share what he knows with his peers. He gets right to work on his assignments and completes them on time. Keep up the good work Trevor.

 

Name: Quintin Ostman, Grade 2

Parents: Shane and Amber Ostman; Siblings: Gavin and Rowan 

Comments: Quintin is new to our school this year and he makes a great addition to the classroom! He is eager to learn and friendly to everyone! Quintin is always ready to help out a classmate or the teacher and is always ready to share an answer or a story! He is ready to answer questions with his hand in the air and a smile on his face. Congratulations Quintin and keep up the great work! 

 

Name: Kali Nepean, Grade 3

Parents: Paula Mathison; Siblings: Cassidy, Shelby, Harley, and Timothy   

Comments: Kali makes my heart smile each day with her bright attitude. She works very hard and is always willing to share ideas in class. Her classmates enjoy her kindness and company. She is a great role model for the other students and is a friend to all. Congratulations Kali!!

 

Parents: Jared and Kaili Fawver; Siblings: Lainey, Hadley, and Baby Mak!  

Comments: Emma has a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn. She is willing to make corrections and always wants to do her best. She comes to school with a bright outlook for the day and doesn’t complain about the hard work ahead but looks forward to the challenge of learning something new. We are proud of you Emma! “Emma is helpful to other students in the class and is a great musician!”

 

Name: Craig Roy III, Grade 5

Parents: Jeni Zurhorst and Craig Roy; Siblings: Derek and Jesalyn   

Comments: “Craig is one of our hardest working and kindest students in the whole Elementary! He always comes to class ready to work. Craig is always enthusiastic about life. He is happy to help and loves to do projects. He is a bright spot in anyone’s day. He cares about other people and asks them how they are. He is respectful and fun to have around. We love Craig!”

Name: Trinity Lene, Grade 6

Parents: Jared & Kasey Jo; Siblings: Tucker and Brady  

Comments: Trinity has been nominated by her peers in Room 206 for December’s Student of the Month. It is easy to see why they would. Trinity has a very positive attitude, wears a beautiful daily smile, and doesn’t like to miss school. She is one of the first students to school in the morning and you will often find her taking down chairs for her classmates as well as doing other kind acts without anyone asking her to do so. She is an on task and focused student and always gives her best effort, even if something challenges her. (Santa would put her on the “nice” list, no doubt!)
