Services held for William Tillman Green

William Tillman Green, age 66, of rural McIntosh, MN. passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Essentia Health Care in Fosston. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at the Trinity Lutheran church cemetery of McIntosh. 

William was born on January 10, 1949 in Lakeland Florida, the son of Tillman and Mickey (Ellerbe) Green. He married Darlene Anderson on July 27, 1972 in Lakeland Florida. They moved to Minnesota in 1986 and settled in rural McIntosh. William was a devoted servant to social services in Polk County for approximately 20 years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and was sealed for time and eternity to his wife Darlene on April 23, 1998. William was an avid golfer in his later years and was also a trivial pursuit master.

He is survived by his 6 children:  Erin Green, Jillian Green of McIntosh,  Loren Green of Otsego, John Green of RLF, Mary (Anthony) Holthusen of TRF, and Chris Green of McIntosh. 

10 Grandchildren: Mary Green, Will Green, Caleb Green, Hunter Green, Riley Green, Marion Pladson, Shelby Holthusen, Alora Holthusen, Timothy Holthusen, and Henry Holthusen.

1 Great grandchild: John Olson. Brother: Thomas (Rhonda) Green of Lakeland Florida. Sister-in-law Donna Anderson of TRF. And several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his mother in law, and also by his wife Darlene on August 9, 2005.
