Welcome to Clearbrook-Gonvick, English teacher, Andy Kaucher

Andy Kaucher is teaching high school English for the 2017-2018 school year at Clearbrook-Gonvick.

Andy lives in Pinewood, with his wife Amanda Kaucher and his pup Etta. He enjoys biking, the arts, and listening to music. Andy received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English while attending Alvernia University in Reading, Pennsylvania. He now is participating in Bemidji State University ‘FastTrak PostBac’ program and is graduating in 2019.

Kaucher had previously worked as an Artist-in-Residence at Wyomissing JR/SR High school in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania for two years. Kaucher decided to become an educator because he wants to push and inspire student understanding of English/Language Arts. He said that many teachers did that for him throughout his schooling and that it was time for him to ‘do his part’.

Andy jokingly stated that his goal for the year was to ‘survive’ and then said that he hopes to inspire his students.  He also hopes to bring a new and enthusiastic love of literature, writing and the overall study of English.
