AWANA Awards Night at New Journey Church

The AWANA clubs that meet a New Journey Church recently concluded their club year with an awards night. Besides club and Sunday School/Church attendance awards, very special awards were given to clubbers who completed a scripture memory book.
Pictured are those who received book awards from Cubbies (pre-kindergarten), Sparks (kindergarten through second grade), and Truth & Training (grades 3-6). Norah Marquis and Asher Lundell each earned the Sparky Plaque, and Kinsley Duppong and Cullen Norland each earned the Timothy Award, the highest awards presented to their age group.
AWANA, an acronym for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed from 2 Timothy 2:15, are international, non-denominational clubs. They meet Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00pm at New Journey Church, late September through April. All children are invited to attend when clubs resume in the fall.
