Highway 92 Improvement Project in Bagley

MnDOT is proposing a roadway reconstruction project on Highway 92 in the City of Bagley. Between approximately Bagley Senior High School to the railroad tracks south of Highway 2, MnDOT proposes to reconstruct the existing two-lane roadway to address poor pavement conditions and improve pedestrian facilities. 

The traffic signal at the intersection of Highway2/Highway 92 would also be replaced, and the city would take the opportunity to replace aging utility infrastructure while the road is under construction. MnDOT would like public input on roadway design. Options include:

→→ Two-lane roadway section with parking and a bike lane, and narrower boulevard space

→→ Two-lane roadway section with parking and larger boulevard space

Another goal of the project is to improve pedestrian connections between Bagley Senior High School and the downtown area, and improve pedestrian facilities throughout the corridor. In addition to many pedestrian and driveway ramp improvements, a new trail would be installed H Street and new sidewalk between 7TH and 3RD Street. A new segment of trail would also be constructed on the west side between Lamond Drive and 4TH Street, adjacent to Bagley Park.
