WEM graduate honored at Northland Tech

Amie (Salvhus) Erickson graduated from Win-E-Mac High School. After graduation, Amie attended Northland Community Technical College from 2006 to 2008 and graduated with a Massage Therapy diploma.
Amie played volleyball and was the setter for the Pioneers in the fall of 2006 and 2007. In 2006, Amie was named to the Minnesota Community College Conference 2nd team all northern division. In 2007, she was named first team all northern division, first team all-state, all region thirteen and NJCAA All American along with Minnesota Community College Conference all academic. In 2008, Amie left Northland with the record career assists with 1,113 total. Amie was fifth in the nation in assists per game and fifth in the nation with total assists for the season.
Amie lives in Winger with her husband David, their son, Josiah, and Siberian Husky, Siku. Amie works at Riverview Clinic in Crookston.
