He was born on January 23, 1959 in Bagley, MN to Elmer and Virginia (Rossell) Edevold. He was confirmed at Samhold Lutheran Church in Gonvick, MN, the city where he grew up. He attended Gonvick School and Graduated from Gonvick High School with the Class of ’77.    David married Deborah Severson, his high school sweet heart. In 2009, Debbie and David adopted a furry four-legged puppy that became their fishing and camping buddy, Serena.

David’s hobbies and activities included gardening, giant pumpkin growing, photography, any type of fishing, camping, hunting, and spending time around the campfire with his family and friends. David was very devoted to his mother, who he took care of until her death in November, 2012. He enjoyed spending time with his brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends sharing with them his love of camping, fishing and hunting. He will be tremendously missed.
