Sewing for Vets

A group of volunteers met last Saturday to sew for area veterans. The patriotic quilts will be going to the Fargo VA Hospital, but can also be delivered to a local veteran. The group plans to meet one Saturday a month in order to reach their goal of approximately 125 quilts! The next sewing day will be held on Saturday, April 8th, at Grace Lutheran Church at 10am. If you aren’t interested in or able to sew, you can always go and help tie! Anyone is welcome; contact Barb Picolet for more information at 294-6555.
The money for the fabric comes from Thrivent Financial and various organizations and individuals who so kindly make a contribution.
