Law Enforcement Appreciation Day April 16

 The Law Enforcement Appreciation Day event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 16 at the American Legion Auditorium in Bagley. This will include a light meal, an informal program with comments, live music and more. Everyone – the general public and law enforcement personnel -- is welcome to stop in for a meal of pulled pork on a bun, beans, chips, refreshments and cookies. While you are there, be sure to visit with law enforcement staff involved in serving the public’s safety, so you can ask questions about their work and let them know you appreciate the job they do. This event is being organized by a group of Clearwater County citizens, with support provided by willing businesses and civic groups. Law enforcement personnel have already been invited, and law enforcement retirees are also encouraged to attend.

The Light Up the Lake event will take place at Fireside Grill and Patio on Friday, May 1, from 4:30 till 7:30 p.m. The admission ticket of $20 go towards the Bagley fireworks display that is set up and fired off by volunteers from the Fire Department every 4th of July over Lake Lomond. This event features numerous stations where a person can sample foods, wines and beers of various flavors. Live music is also a popular feature which keeps people coming back! Ticket availability will be advertised soon, once they become available. The person is charge of this event is Bagley Municipal Liquor Store Manager Chris Arnold.
