Chargers boys are 13-6

Last week held two home games for the boys basketball team with one being in Goodridge vs. Clearbrook/Gonvick and the other being in Grygla vs. Kittson County Central. Both games were victories, which brought the team’s current record to 13-6.

This week’s schedule includes a game on Tuesday, February 7th, vs. Sacred Heart in EGF. The GG boys also join the GG girls for a double header in Warroad this Friday night.

Tuesday, January 31st BBB vs. CG in Goodridge

Chargers over Bears 83-60

Coach Mike Gast: We started out with a lot of energy and played good defense. We scored some early points off of our defense. We kind of coasted defensively in the 2nd half. We need to do a better job defensively throughout the whole game. Overall, a very good win for us. Kids played pretty hard, but we need to continue to improve.

Friday, February 3rd BBB vs. KCC in Grygla

Chargers beat Bearcats 50-47

Coach Mike Gast: We played a great 1st half of basketball! We had to hang on in the last 2 minutes of the game to get the win. It was a hard fought battle. It was a big win for us! We need to continue to improve in all areas, however.
