Jacey Tronnes, a sophomore at Clearbrook-Gonvick High School, competed in the Region 1 FFA Wildlife CDE at the University of Minnesota Crookston campus on Wednesday, January 25, and placed fourth individually, qualifying her to participate in the Minnesota State Wildlife CDE in April at the University of Minnesota St. Paul campus.
The wildlife competition involves the identification of a multitude of wildlife species including mammals, fish, birds, and insects, as well as a written exam on a broad spectrum of general knowledge of wildlife life cycles, wildlife health, wildlife habitat, and wildlife management and conservation.
Jacey provides a great example to other students of how hard work and focus pay off! The Clearbrook-Gonvick FFA Chapter is very proud of her efforts and success! Good luck in April, Jacey!
