She works very hard and completes work on time. Her confidence is clear when she shares ideas in class discussions. I am proud of her progress she has made already this year. Congratulations!

Student: Alex Churness, Grade 5
Parents: Travis and Danielle Churness Siblings: Aiden and Ashten
Comments: We chose Alex to be our student of the month. Alex could be the student of the month every month! He is incredibly hard working, completes his work, asks for help when needed, gives help when needed, and gives 100% in everything he does. He has a positive attitude that makes him enjoyable to be around and makes him helpful to his classmates.
Student: Ashlyn Churness, Grade 6
Parents: Andrea & Troy Churness Siblings: Hunter, Amara, Adriana
Comments: Ashlyn has been nominated by her peers and teachers for November’s student of the month. Ashlyn is a serious, but enthusiastic learner, and always gives her best effort. She’s the student raising her hand when asked, and she’s the student helping out without being asked. She’ll re-do and double-check her work to make sure she’s gotten it right. She goes “above-and-beyond” without realizing it. (She will also be very surprised that she’s getting this nomination.) If we described her in a song, it would be, “Always Be Humble and Kind” by Tim McGraw. Ashlyn is a very humble and polite young lady and C-G Elementary is proud to have her represent their school.
