Oklee Inn Quilt Retreat held November 4-5

On Friday, November 4th, a group of serious quilters gathered at the Oklee Inn.

This was for the 1st ever Oklee Inn Quilt Retreat, sponsored by the Oklee Inn and Oklee Quilting. 

The cost for the retreat was $85.00 which included, a night stay at the Inn and food supplied by TJ's Tavern of Oklee, Oklee Cenex and the Oklee Cafe. 

The ladies had the opportunity to sew two make and take projects (a zippered bag and/or a cloth basket). And the quilters also brought along their own projects for a fun weekend of sewing and visiting with friends and family.

In addition to the all inclusive weekend of sewing, food and fun, Oklee Quilting also gave each quilter a goody bag of neat items and there was also door prizes drawn. 

There are plans in the works for the next Oklee Inn Quilt Retreat, possibly in March 2017.
