Danny Bragg was recently on a fishing trip at Williams Narrows resort in Deer River, Minnesota. The trip was coordinated by the VA hospital, where disabled veterans could sign up for an all-expenses paid fishing trip on Lake Winnibi-goshish, which was September 12th-15th. Bragg was 1 of 13 veterans on the trip where they stayed in a large cabin at Williams Narrows Resort. 7 boats and hand-picked fishing guides took the veterans out over the duration of their stay. One of the guides is a friend of Kent Hrbeks, who was in the area fishing himself, and decided to stop by and say hello to the fishermen.
Hrbek is a former first baseman who played his entire 14-year baseball career for the Minnesota Twins. One fun fact about Hrbek – he hit the first home run in the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome on April 3, 1982, in an exhibition game against the Phillies!
