Children in the area worked only one week to bring “Snow White”
to the stage at the Clearbrook-Gonvick School laast weekned during Summer Fest.
The cast members included: Emma Rude is Snow White, Jack McQuown is The Prince, Anna Engebretson is the Mirror. Raven #1 is Ella Engen, Raven #2 is Dana Melby, Raven #3 is Julie Lavin. Hickory will be played by Elijah McQuown, Tatum Melby is Bebop, Matthew Rankin is Bart and Jazz is played by Madison Gerlofs. Wyatt Westrum is Tumalum, Amelia Machlitt is Banzai, Mya Engen is Daybreak. The Townspeople are Presley Westrum, Tavia Johnson, Savanna Rankin and Aeris Thistle. Spellbinders are Abby Engen and Aliyah Ballard and the Forest Creatures are: Erika Rude is Bunny, Caleb Engebretson is Squirrel, Joely Hinrichs-Olson is Frog and Emma Fawver is Butterfly.
Two professional actors, Mikey Burson and Sydnee Harlan, will take the roles of the endearingly bumbling Huntsman and everyone’s favorite Evil Queen. The show promises to be fun for old and young alike, and continues Prairie Fire’s tradition of retelling the classics with a twist. Snow White is saved by the Prince, but not with a kiss! There is a great deal of music, including production numbers featuring The Townspeople and a lot of movement highlighted by the Queen’s Spellbinders and the Forest Creatures.

“Snow White” is the culmination of a week-long residency by Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre of Barrett.
It is made possible by a grant from the Region 2 Arts Council funded by an appropriation from the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the State’s general fund. Co-Sponsor is Clearbrook-Gonvick Summer Recreation.
