Services for John Victor Cucci

John Victor Cucci, 74, of Leonard, MN, died on Friday, June 10th, 2016 at Sanford Fargo Medical Center in Fargo, N.D. following a short illness. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 21st at 12:00 noon at Country Faith Church, Clearbrook.

John was born September 16, 1941 in Montevideo, MN, son of Victor and Rebecca (Olson) Cucci.

He graduated from Montevideo High School in 1959. He attended Minneapolis Business College.

John married Mavis Magenton in September 1960. John and Mavis raised two daughters, Kari and Vicki. Mavis passed away in 1987.

On April 9, 1988 John married Beverly Hourscht. John and Bev have resided at Clearwater Lake since 1997. 

John loved fishing, hunting, and the outdoors. Shortly after moving to Clearwater Lake, John received Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and Lord. He was a faithful member of Country Faith Church and served as a deacon for nearly 15 years. He also loved the Clear Waters Life Center and was a frequent volunteer there.

John is survived by his wife, Bev, daughter Kari (Curt) Stai, and Vicki (Pat) Grengs and Bev’s two sons Kelly Hourscht and Brian Hourscht. Also, grandchildren, Jordan Stai, Lauren (Rick) Proulx, Mitch (Katie) Grengs, Jessica (Joshua) Ellis, Leah Grengs, Kelsey (Travis) Kroger, Hunter and Skylar Hourscht. Brothers Jerry (Diane) Cucci and Rick Cucci, sister Karen (Don Priebe) Cucci.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mavis, and his parents.
