Clearwater County Historical Society to meet in Clearbrook March 29

The Clearwater County Historical Society will hold its membership meeting and potluck supper on Tuesday March 29 at the Clearbrook Legion/ Banquet meeting room. (In the old school, use the east entrance). Special guest speaker will be David M. Grabitske from the Minnesota Historical Society.

The Clearwater County Historical Society formed in 1968. It is no accident that Minnesota is one of the few states where there is a county-level history agency in every single county of the state. Come learn how this came to be and why history work is essential for every community.

Grabitske has been with the Minnesota Historical Society for 20 years. For much of that time he's worked closely with the more than 500 historical organizations across Minnesota.

The meeting will begin at 5:00 with a social hour followed at 5:30 by a short meeting and a potluck Supper. The program will begin around 6:45 pm. Historical Society members and anyone interested in the society and its work are encouraged to attend and bring a friend!
