Snowstorm didn’t keep this cowboy away from church

Two weeks ago in almost blizzard conditions this rider decided to come to church in spite of the weather, and showed up to the Cowboy Church near Leonard on horseback.

Friends at the church, Walt Eyster and Margie Baughman who submitted the picture, said they couldn't tell at first what was coming down the road in the storm to the Lazy J Ranch where church is held. He allowed them to take his picture for the newspaper, provided they did not use his name.

Another person who attends there, Diane Moen, said the Cowboy Church has from 30-50 attendees, and it is a nice place to go.

"No politics are ever discussed in their messages, just what is right from the Bible," she said.
