Painting Class held at RLCC

There was a painting class taught by Sandra Tougas on Monday, January 25 at the RLCC High School in Oklee. The class was available for sixth grade and up, and adults were welcome to attend. Tougas taught the class how to paint a picture of birds. The class painted the picture with acrylic paints and painted it on a canvas.
The first step of the class was painting the sky. The sky colors were blended. Next the class painted the branches and added leaves to them. Then the birds were painted onto the canvas. The painting took approximately two hours to do.
Those who took the class were Karena Melby, Sydnie Gunderson, Sydney Melby, Shelby Gunderson, DJ Bernstein, Lacey Pendelton, Katie Pendelton, Jerry Schue, Kjerstin Nelson, Bailey Sherman, and Avery Sannes.
