Only 300 will be baked
Volunteers at the Bagley Senior Center are at it again! They will be baking 300 Caramel Rolls on Saturday July 25. Starting at 8am volunteers will be out on the sidewalk in front of the center selling those gooey delectable treats they just finished baking, available in one, two and four pre-packaged quantities. The rolls are $2 each. Remember ONLY 300 will be baked! It is First come, First serve.
Why on a Saturday? Saturday is Bagley’s Annual “Crazy Days” (9-4pm). To help shoppers get a good start to their morning the center will start selling the rolls at 8 AM and continue until GONE.
The center will be open as well starting at 8:00am. Guests may come in, have a seat and get their caramel roll(s) inside. Maybe add a pat of butter? add cup of coffee? as they savor the gooey goodness! The coffee will be hot, rolls fresh, and only $2.
The Craft and Thrift Stores will be open as well, 8am-4pm. Both stores are teaming with treasures waiting to be discovered.
The Craft Store has variety of handmade/ crafted items created by local area residents. Gifts for every age and occasion can be found. Located inside the Craft Store, the “Vintage Room”, once a small corner of the craft store, is a room designated to hold the treasures of years gone by. Many items for sale are displayed as if in a gallery. Antiques, memories of a time when “things” seemed much simpler.
The Thrift Store holds gently used items for just about everyone, any size, any need. From clothing, games and decor, to puzzles, books and shoes, and so much more. You never know what you will find one day to the next. Clothing is seasonally selected. Donations for the Thrift Store are greatly appreciated and accepted Monday through Friday 10-2pm.
The Bagley Senior Center is a “community”, a community mainly run by volunteers. It is a place to gather, socialize, play cards and/or enjoy a meal. The center is open to everyone, Monday through Friday, 10am-2pm.
Bagley “CRAZY DAYS” is Saturday July 25 9:00-4:00.
