Whist Continues at the Bagley Senior Center
The Tuesday Whist Gang welcomes in 2026. The gang is well into its third year and going strong. Whist is played every Tuesday at the Bagley Senior Center starting promptly at 1pm.
This group is open to anyone who comes in to play, regardless of skill level. Those wanting to learn may come in to play as well. This is truly the most friendly group of fiercely competitive players who love to have fun!
Everyone plays. Tables/players are assigned randomly. There are 6 rounds of 4 games. After each round of the winners advance to the next table, but they do not remain partners. A single card is flipped to see who will partner after each round. This keeps it more entertaining and fair to those with less experience.
To add to the excitement $1.50 from each player is donated. $1.00 goes to the center and .50 into a separate pot. At the end of 6 rounds 1st and 2nd place winners split the pot.
The month of November and December were filled with fun competition and interesting results, once ending with three players in second place.
