U of MN Small Grain Summer Plot Tours

The University of Minnesota Extension will hold hands-on small grain clinics and plot tours in the coming weeks.

The aim of the clinics is to get you ready to tackle any disease and pest problems should they develop between now and the all-important flowering time in wheat, barley, and oats.

These clinics will be held at the on-farm small grain trials near Fergus Falls, Oklee, Humboldt, and Strathcona.  

Dates, Locations, and Times

Fergus Falls - Monday, June 22nd from 10:00-noon at the Walkup Farm southeast of the intersection of Co Rd 26 and 295th Ave (Google Plus code - 4R4H+73H Western, MN)

Oklee - Thursday, June 25th from 10:00-noon at the Swenson Seed Farm northwest of the intersection of MN Hwy 92 and Co Rd 8 (Google Plus code - Q4HR+J73, Oklee, MN)

Humboldt - Friday, June 26th from 10:00-noon at the Mark & Neil Wiese Farm, 6.5 miles east of Humboldt along Co Rd 6 (Google Plus code - W3C4+5RW Orleans, MN)

Strathcona - Thursday, July 7th from 10:00-noon at the Jim Kukowski Seed Farm located just southwest of the intersection of Co Rd 6 and 210th Ave (Google Plus code - HVC2+X38, Strathcona)

Crookston - Wednesday, July 15 Crop & Soils Day - NWROC farm
