The true meaning of Christmas

The Grace and Our Savior’s Lutheran Church youth group held their Live Nativity last Sunday evening, December 19th. Despite a crisp wind, the temperatures allowed for a beautiful night walking down State Street, beginning at Yo-Hawn’s and ending at the Veteran’s Memorial Park. Youth group members were dressed in costume as angels, shepherds, wise men, the three kings, Mary and Joseph. Like last year, live animals were a part of the event with Walter Jones bringing in a cow, along with Travis & Karryn Neuschwander bringing in a sheep and donkey.
The public was invited to gather along State Street, walking with the group to the tree where the Christmas Story was read, along with a couple of Christmas songs being sang.
The Live Nativity has become a tradition to look forward to as it is the true meaning of Christmas!
