The Sons of Norway, Granlund Lodge #240, presents the TASTE OF NORWAY on Thursday, November 12, at the Embassy Center, 603 3rd St, NE, in Fosston. A short meeting for members will begin at 5:30, followed at 6:30 by the Taste of Norway. The community is invited to attend and see demonstrations and get a taste of many delicious Scandinavian foods including lefse, krum kake, almond cake, heart waffles with berries, flatbread, sweet soup, rommegrot, meatballs, herring and more. Crafts being demonstrated or displayed include rosemaling, Hardanger embroidery, yarn gnomes, Nordic knitting, stained glass and much more.
