Successful solos for Win-E-Mac students

Monday, November 7, 2016 was a very successful day for Win-E-Mac musicians!
A Solo Contest was held at Halstad, MN. 7 vocalists and 7 instrumentalists participated in this contest.
Win-E-Mac received 8 ** (Superior) and 6 * (Excellent) ratings!
Vocalists receiving Superior (**) ratings were as follows: Cleopatra Basargin (Think of Me), Andrea Reandeau (At Last), Tyra Wilson (Sing Me to Sleep), Mikah Olson (Empty Chairs and Empty Tables), Bailee Burcham (Peace: Du Bist Die Ruh), and Aries Qualey (On My Own).
Instrumentalists receiving Superior (**) ratings were as follows: Aries Qualey (Tuba Solo)
Instrumentalists receiving Excellent (*) ratings were as follows: Alaina Juve (Flute), Bailee Burcham (Flute), Lily Breckel (Flute), Clarissa Neste (Clarinet), Katelyn Sanden (Bass Clarinet), Tyra Wilson (Alto Sax
Also participating was vocal soloist Hailey Balstad (Maybe Someday).
Accompanists for the soloists were: Andrew Hanson and Charity Salmonson.
All our musicians represented our school very well, and we are proud of them! Congratulations on a job well done!
