Successful contest for WEM musicians

On Monday, March 13, 2017, Win-E-Mac vocal ensembles and 7 instrumental ensembles participated in the annual Ensemble Contest, which this year was held in Mahnomen.
The many weeks of practice and hard work really paid off, as vocal and 6 instrumental ensembles received the coveted ** (Superior) rating, while vocal and 1 instrumental ensembles received the * (Excellent) rating.
Receiving a ** (Superior) rating for their instrumental ensembles were: Alaina Juve, Bailee Burcham, Lily Breckel and Carlie Sander (Flute Quartet), Aries Qualey & Dylan Cabrales (Alto Sax/Tuba Duet), Lily Breckel, Clarissa Neste & Tapanga Bratager (WW Trio), Katelyn Sanden & Aries Qualey (Bass Clarinet/Tuba Duet), Alaina Juve & Bailee Burcham (Flute Duet) and Aries Qualey & Joey Revier (Trombone/Tuba Duet)
Receiving a * (Excellent) rating for their instrumental ensemble were: Alaina Juve, Bailee Burcham and Lily Breckel (Flute Trio).
The students who participate in this contest work diligently to perfect their talents and are able to take their performances to the next level.
