Spotlight on Scholarship Certificates

The Red Lake County Central High School awarded the Spotlight on Scholarship to students who maintained a 3.0 grade point average while participating in fall athletics. Thirty-five students received certificates from the Minnesota State High School League for their achievements.
For the 2015 football season the recipients were the seniors: Austin Waliser, Brendan Krueger, Devin Lambert, Alan Nemec, Seth Johnson, Marcus Christensen and Wyatt Waldal, juniors: Talon Porter, Dylan Gustafson, Brandon Lee and Makay Berns, sophomores: Tyler Jensen, Nick Pahlen, Seth Paradis, Matt Vettleson and Ethan Vettleson and freshmen: Connor Lambert, Dawson Rystad and Zoe Russillo.
For the volleyball season, seniors: Michelle Sundquist, Holly Vettleson, Asia Davis and Ana Almeida, juniors: Ashley Longtin, Megan Berberich, Taylor Bushelle, Nicole Schmitz, Kelsie Sirjord and Shelby Gunderson, sophomores: Billie Jo Gryskiewicz, Megan Smith and Hannah Kolstoe, freshmen Sydnie Gunderson and Julia Bernstein, and eight grader Calyssa Eskeli received certificates.
