Sportsman’s Club ride

The Fourtown/Grygla Sportsman’s Club went on their annual snowmobile trip over the weekend. The group of about 25 rode up to Rainy River Resort. About 200 miles were put on there and back with an additional 100 miles put on with Saturday’s riding. Stops included various warming shacks along the way, including the stucco house near Winner Silo, along with a stop in Williams, and various resorts around the lake. Saturday’s ride took the snowmobilers all the way up to Sunset Lodge at Oak Island. The group split into two from there with the one group continuing on up to the Northwest Angle. Stops included Flag Island Resort and Fort St. Charles before they headed south into the mainland and down the Border Trail back to the lake.
