Several Holiday Events at History Center in Shevlin this weekend

The History center in Shevlin is hosting several events on Saturday and Sunday December 13th  & 14th.

On Saturday it’s “Kids Day” at the Festival of Trees. Kids are encouraged to stop by to see the trees and pick up a treat bag. They can also do small craft or two while they enjoy a snack. The Center will be open 10:00- 4:00.

On Sunday The History Center will be open from noon – 4:00  for a “taste of Christmas” with demonstrations and samples of many different holiday treats- from Lefse to Kringla to “Christmas Crack!” 

There will also be a chance to meet many of the organizations and families who decorated trees for the 2025 Festival during a “Meet and Greet” that afternoon.

The History Center is located along highway 2 in Shevlin; Admission is free, donations are gratefully accepted.
