Santa checked his lists at Brooks & Oklee

Many children in the area went to Oklee and Brooks this past weekend to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus over the weekend. Santa and Mrs. Claus first came to Oklee on Saturday morning when they heard the children who had gathered singing at the Hall. At Oklee, the Salem Ladies held their annual Christmas Cookie sale, and there were crafts for the children to do.

The next day, in the evening, a light supper meal was served to the folks waiting for Santa and Mrs. Claus to stop by. There were many children there also going from door to door looking for the delayed Santa & Mrs. Claus, but Santa & the Misses didn’t disappoint, they came in late, and the children were delighted to visit with them.
