RLCC High School presents “Something’s Afoot,” a musical

RLCC High School Theater will be presenting its first musical in over 35 years next month. They will be presenting its first musical in over 35 years named, SOMETHING’S AFOOT by James Mcdonald, David Vos and Robert Gerlach and by special arrangement by Samuel French Inc.
This musical comedy is loosely based on Agatha Christie’s TEN LITTLE INDIANS. A group of six guests have all been invited by Lord Rancour to the island in 1930 called Rancour’s retreat. Everyone is hoping for a wonderful weekend when the butler is murdered while informing the others that Lord Rancour will not be at supper because he has been killed. Suspicion, accusations, confusion galore. It is a great who dun it. Mr. Swenson had directed this show 35 years ago with Deb Lambert, Carol Bergeron, Eric Mickelson, John Lindquist and Matt Radniecki.
This year’s cast is Jade Person as Lady Grace-Manley Prowe, Sydnie Melby as Hope Landon, Kara Longtin as Regina Rancour, Tom Nelson as Geoffrey, Hannah Kolstoe as Miss Tweed, Colonel Gillweather as Nick Pahlen, David Clifton as Clive, Lilly Guillemette as Lettie, Dan Guillemette as Flint, and Jayden Iverson as Dr. Grayburne.
Gunner Anderson as the Stage Manager, Remi Ransack special effects, Mr. Swanson and his shop classes will help with sets, Mrs. Mickleson will be helping with the music and Michael Swenson will be directing.
It will be a fun time.
