RLCC Junior High choir sings for the enjoyment for other people for the Fall Music Concert on November 21.

The junior high band played six numbers for RLCC’s Fall Concert held November 21 in Oklee.

At the Fall Concert, RLCC Senior High Choir sang several songs: “The Rose,” “Shenandoah,” and “California Dreaming.”

The music students from Red Lake County Central High School have been busy preparing for the Fall Band and Choir Concert. It was held Monday, November 21, 2016 in Oklee. Ms. Patty Mickelson is the instructor for the bands and choir. Mrs. Peggy Miller accompanied the choirs.

The junior high band played six songs: “Twin Cities March,” “Somewhere in My Memory,” “The Glowworm,” “Smoke on the Water,” “Percussion Cadence,” and “American Fantasy.” The four songs the senior high band played were “Knights of Destiny,” “Hanging Tree,” “Greatest American Hero,” and “How to Train your Dragon.”

Members of the junior high choir sang “Wade in the Water,” ” Away to Rio,” and “Route 66.” The senior high choir selections were “The Rose,” “Shenandoah,” and “California Dreaming.” The evening ended with the combined choirs singing “Hail Minnesota” and “America”.
