RLC Rebels Track and Field recognize athletes at banquet

Red Lake County Rebels Track and Field Team honored its athletes with recognition on May 31st in Red Lake Falls.
Ten athletes and one manager received letter awards and twenty athletes and one manager were recognized with participation certificates.  The following were the letter winners Ashley Longtin, Madison Derosier, Megan LaCrosse, Julia Bernstein, Zoe Russillo, MaKenzie Williams, AJ Jones, Chris Longtin, Clara Girdler, Kjerstin Nelson, and Jade Person (Manager).  The following were the participation certificate recipients Shayla Lallier, Nick Pahlen, Eric Camacho, Abby Walton, Britain Arlt, Lane Renner, Hollie Knott, George Duden, Andrew Gryskiewicz, Brody Moen, Steven Sogla, Shawna Majeres, Aurimy Olson, Paige Olson, Arielle Rude, Molly Smith, Marissa Thomas, Carlee Whalen, Oscar Duden, Gunnar Sandeen,  and Laura Knott (Manager).  
The Team also recognized individuals with Team awards.  The Most Valuable Track Athlete went to Zoe Russillo and Chris Longtin.  The Most Valuable Field Athlete went to Ashley Longtin and MaKenzie Williams.  The Rookie of the Year went to Kjerstin Nelson.  The Most Improved went to MaKenzie Williams and Chris Longtin.  The RLC Award went to Madison Derosier and Eric Camacho.  The Will to Win Athlete went to Megan LaCrosse.  
Zoe Russillo was awarded Most Valuable Running Athlete at the Pine-To-Prairie Conference Meet.
Four team records were broke this season in the girls 100 hurdles by MaKenzie Williams, 200 meter by Zoe Russillo, high jump by Ashley Longtin, and the 4x100 meter relay by AJ Jones, Julia Bernstein, MaKenzie Williams, and Zoe Russillo
As coaches we are very proud of this group of athletes.  We say good bye to our one senior Ashley Longtin, but look forward to our returning athletes for next season.
