RLC Junior High Speech places third at Novice Speech Meet

Red Lake County Rebels Junior High Speech Team had a Novice Meet on Thursday, March 17th in Fisher. There were seven teams present and the Rebels took home the third place trophy. According to their coach Mrs. Judy Schue, “It was a great competition for our younger speakers.” Eighth grader Jayden Iverson received a prize for the best St. Patrick’s Day ‘wearing of the green’. 

Carly Williams placed first in Humor, and Lily Guillemette also placed first in Poetry. Jayden Iverson in Poetry, Kara Longtin and Jayden Iverson in Duo and Allison Aakhus in Humor all placed third. Abby Walton got a blue ribbon in Prose and Lilly Hanson got a red ribbon in Humor.
