RLC Boys’ Basketball Awards

Red Lake County boys’ basketball held their annual Awards Night and banquet on Sunday, March 26th in Plummer. The coaches shared about the season and presented the awards.
The Letter Winners were Ethan Vettleson, Matt Vettleson, Seth Paradis, John Renner, Jordan Johnson, Ben Cardinal, Adrien Verbout, Connor Lambert, Justin Nemec, Brandon Wiskow, Austin Jensen, Derek Peterson, and Isiah Olson. The players who earned a perfect attendance award were Ethan Vettleson, John Renner, Jordan Johnson, Ben Cardinal, Adrien Verbout, Brandon Wiskow, and Hayden Cardinal.
The players receiving special awards were Matt Vettleson, Defensive Player of the Year; John Renner, Most improved Player and Most Dedicated/Hardest Worker; Dylan Olsen, Best Teammate; and Ethan Vettleson, Stealer Award, the Most Steals in a Season. Seniors Dylan Olsen and Makay Berns were awarded with the Senior Award and each got an embroidered blanket.
Ethan Vettleson set three new team records for the Rebels. He broke the team records of Most Steals in a game with 14, Most Steals in a season with 106, and the Most Triple Doubles in a Season with one. E. Vettleson was also awarded All-Conference Honorable Mention.
