Thirty-three students received their diplomas in commencement exercises on Friday, May 27th
Mr. Randall Pederson, principal of Red Lake County Central presented the Class of 2016 for graduation at the ceremony held Friday evening at 7:30 p.m.
Three students addressed their classmates, Holly Vettleson, Devin Lambert and Samantha Smith all relating memories and giving thanks to those who supported them as they completed their education.
Holly Vettleson, Kjersten Walton, Miranda Magnell, Shawnee Styles, Brandi Jensen and Taylor Klasen-Gryskiewicz sang "Take These Wings," by Steve Kupfenschmid and Don Besig.
Members of the Senior Class sang "Forever Young" as sung by Alphaville.
The Class Video was played showing many pictures taken of the classmates throughout the years and their senior photo.
Superintendent James Guetter and School Board Chairman, Matt Kolstoe presented the students with their diplomas as their names were called.
The color guard from Plummer American Legion Post #623 presented the Colors at the beginning of the ceremony and Retired the Colors at the end of the ceremony.
Peggy Miller played the processional and recessional music and the songs were directed by Music Instructor Patty Mickelson.
Honor Guards were Angel Auman & Ashley Longtin. Usherettes were Natalie Aakhus, Megan Berberich, Taylor Bushelle, and Kelsie Sirjord.
