Saturday, March 5th, the Quilts of Valor group got together for a day of sewing and completed 6 quilt tops! The groups goal is to give away 15 quilts this year. Three Ladies came from Roseau that day to help with the sewing. Great Job Ladies! Sewing that day were: Jean Pederson, Carol Holland, Jean McDonald, all from Roseau, Garnet Aanenson, Becky Bailey, Lois Boehrnsen, Kathryn Carver, Connie Strom, Jane Aakhus, DeeDee Narum, Ilene Reierson, Betty Tangen, Sandy Salvhus and Paulette Kringlen.

Lots of work goes into making a quilt top, sewing and ironing, over and over. Here Garnet Aanenson works on a quilt top during Quilts of Valor sewing day on March 5th.
