After a teaching career of 25 years, Karen Busch decided to start a new business- Paws Hoofs Claws near Mentor. This new business venture provides care and exercise for small and large animals. In-home visits allow the animal to stay at their homes. Busch will visit for an hour at breakfast and an hour at supper for vacations or an hour at lunch for the work day.
“I provide basic care and exercise, like playing fetch, walking, running, and snuggling.” Busch said.
For large animals on farms, she will provide help with seasonal animal work and daily animal chores for farmers in need of her assistance.
In the future, Busch plans to get additional help from University of Minnesota -Crookston students enrolled in the animal science and pre-veterinary classes and have a passion for animals.
