Applications are being accepted for an Extension support staff position under the general supervision of the 4-H Youth Development Extension educator. This position serves as the first point of contact for customers and performs general office duties, including the following: responding to public inquiries or requests by providing resources and referrals; assisting with creating and modifying electronic documents, website, brochures, program fliers, posters, reports and correspondence; entering detailed program and financial data; maintaining detailed office records; providing clerical and technical office support for the 4-H Youth Development Extension Program and staff and assisting 4-H Youth Development Extension educator in planning and developing 4-H county fair resources and events, exhibitor cards and processing of fair premium checks.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED and two years post-secondary education in administrative coursework or two years of related clerical office experience.
- Strong customer service experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with email, calendaring, word processing, spreadsheets, and database software.
- Proficient with standard office equipment.
- Proficient with general bookkeeping.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite applications
Salary range $22.76-$29.30
