Oklee Quilting is becoming an online presence

Oklee Quilting has been open throughout the pandemic. The storefront business has increased, but the mail order has declined quit a bit, due to the fact that customers couldn't get together to quilt for the mission projects and other things. 

Recently, Oklee Quilting Supply in Oklee did their first online video on January 5th. Owner Toni Johnson and employee, Judy Schue, to promote their new online presence,

Starting January 14th at 9 a.m. they will be going live online to feature some of their new products, giving tips and all kinds of fun stuff, says Toni Johnson.

In their introduction video they informed everyone one of their physical location at 205 Main Street in Oklee, MN. Their phone number is 218-796-5151. They are open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. 

During the winter months, the have special evening hours on Thursdays until 7 p.m. where they do interesting things, like Show & Tell, strip exchanges, etc. and have in-store specials.

Oklee Quilting has been part of the Quilt Minnesota Shop Hop for three years and is one of the five stops in the Northwestern part of Minnesota. This year's Quilt Minnesota Shop Hop, the 15th annual, will take place from July 30th to August 21st, 2021. There is usually a featured fabrics which can be pre-ordered. Just give Oklee Quilting a call and put in your order.

Many people consider Oklee Quilting the "Best little secret of Northern Minnesota," It offers a very good quality and selection of fabrics at reasonable prices. People walking in to the store are amazed at what they have.

They have 45" cottons and flannels in petit's, children's prints, nature prints, sport prints (Vikings, Twins, NDSU, UND, Gopher, Wild) and generic prints for hocky, football, and  basketball. They also have a selection of blended basics that will blend with your quilts, and many different widths of wide backing for your quilts.

Right now they have specials of $4.00 off per yard of their seasonal fabrics (Christmas , Halloween, Easter, Valentines, & St. Patricks). They also have a great selection of home decor and are running a 25% discount on Christmas decor. 

There are too many items to mention but they also have a selection of Minkee Minkee 60 and 90 inch widths, prints Batiks, solids, patterns, notions of all kinds, and if you can't find it, they will look for it and order  it for you from their suppliers. Lots of samples hanging on our walls, kits varying from table runners to full size quilts. boxed kits, prepacked kits, 2.5 inch strip rolls, fat quarters, and much more. 

If you need a quilt quilted, they also have long arm quilting machines to finish your projects. They are a full service quilt shop.
