November Students of the Month at RLCC

The junior high Student of the Month for November at Red Lake County Central in Oklee was chosen by Mrs. Patty Mickelson and it went to Adriel Bakken. Mrs. Mickelson said, “Adriel has excellent grades and a great attitude. She looks forward to new challenges involved in extra activities. She stands out in the care shown to help out other people.”
Bakken is in seventh grade and is 12 years old. She is the daughter of Rob and Tanya Bakken and has two brothers by the names of Noah and Kaleb Bakken. Bakken likes to play volleyball, basketball, softball, paint, and spend time with her cousins and the rest of her family.
The November senior high Student of the Month was chosen by Mr. Steven Strutz and it went to Brandi Jensen. Mr. Strutz described Jensen as “a hard worker who has successfully achieved over a 3.5 gpa.” He also said that she was an overachiever and he can count on her to get her work done.
Jensen is in 12th grade and is 18 years old. She is the daughter of Carrie and Jason Jensen and has four siblings by the names of Peyton, Tyler, Austin, and Salyha. Jensen is involved in basketball, softball, and river watch. She also likes to spend most her time sleeping and watching Netflix.
