Social Connectedness-Get Involved, Get Connected- MARCH Week 3

With spring right around the corner, there are some exciting happenings in the North Country!  It’s time to dream of gardening whether you’re a serious gardener with a master blueprint, or someone who just buys what you think is pretty.

A fun activity with young children is to find a flowerpot with good drainage, add some potting soil and sprinkle with some grass seed.  Water it lightly every day and in about a week, you’ll have a pot of nice healthy grass.  Kids love watching it grown and “mowing it” with a scissor when it gets too long.

Or make your own plans with people you enjoy spending time with.  Remember Progressive Dinners?  Or lunches?  Get a few friends together and plan an evening or day of fun.  Here are some fun ideas:  progressive supper ideas - Google Search

Local libraries offer classes and activities for a wide range of ages.  Lake Agassiz Regional Library website has multiple listing for many locations here in the North Country.  To the right of their webpage the cities served by them are listed.  Young Artists - Lake Agassiz Regional Library
