Nominations for Senior Citizens wanted

Outstanding Senior Citizen for 2026? Nominate someone deserving today. Nominations for Clearwater County Outstanding Senior Citizen are now being sought for 2026, candidates for this award need to be residents of Clearwater County and over the age of 70. They are known for going out of their way to help others, to volunteer, and to organize or help others with volunteer services. One lady and one man who are 70 years old by June 1, 2026 will be selected from the nominations received. On Saturday, August 8, at 11 am the winners will be announced at the Outstanding Senior Citizens Program at the Clearwater County Fair. This award recognizes outstanding community service given by individuals and they will join the list of previous county winners. Official nomination forms will be available at the Clearbrook Senior Center and at the Bagley Senior Center or from Committee Co-Chairpersons Jean Walker at 651-261-7537 or from Al Paulson at 218-694-6520.
