Market Day Pickleball Tournament A Success!

The newly organized pickleball fun in Oklee featured a pickleball tournament on Market Day, Saturday, August 10th in Oklee. Players from Mentor, Plummer and Oklee registered for the tournament which was held for beginner play in a round robin format. Dave Olson, president of the Oklee Pickleball Club was pleased with the entries as 18 people signed up to play.
Medals were awarded to Jason Jensen, Plummer, 1st place, Jamie Hoglo, Plummer, 2nd place, Bob Melby, Oklee, 3rd place and Jessica Hofstad, 4th place.
Designated pickleball play is Sundays at 6:30 pm, weather permitting. Anyone with questions about the game or who wants to be contacted when play is scheduled can contact Dave Olson, 701-261-7605.
