Grygla Go-Getters 4H Club attend the Roseau County Fair! Michael Brobst is pictured with his Grand Champion Market Steer, purchased by Border State Bank. Mike also won the Rate of Gain with his steer gaining 3.22 lbs/day, and the Sr. Division Beef Interview. Mike and “Cupid” will represent the Grygla Go-Getters 4-H Club and Roseau County at the MN State Fair in August.

Carlye Kiesow was awarded Grand Champion and will be headed to state for her 4-H project she did; a detailed crocheted dress like Elsa’s from the movie, Frozen!

2015 was the third year for Lakylie Brobst bringing a calf to the Roseau County Fair for 4-H. She received her final year of being a Cloverbud ribbon and metal. Next year Lakylie will be old enough to show a steer vs. a calf.

Last Wednesday was the 4H livestock show at the Roseau County Fair. Walter Jones got a blue ribbon for both his Market Steer and his Heifer. He also received both a blue ribbon and a Reserved Champion in Beginner Showmanship.
