Leah Schulz begins student teaching

Leah Schulz, Grygla High School Alumna, daughter of Doug and Jodi, has begun student teaching at the Goodridge School. She is in Mrs. Amber Sundberg’s 1st grade room and began her student teaching right after the Christmas break. She will be graduating from Mayville State University in May with her Elementary Education degree (with a Kindergarten Endorsement). Ms. Schulz will be in the first grade classroom for ten weeks and then move to the Kindergarten room for five additional weeks. With 20 students currently in her class, Leah says she has always wanted to work with kids ever since being a Peer Helper back in high school. Looking down the road, she hopes to be a full-time teacher at a school within an hour of Grygla.
