Hunter Kiesow, a sophomore at Goodridge High School, has some official training under his belt! The young Motocross racer went down to the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, area January 8th-22nd where he was trained by Scotty Wennerstrom, who is a Pro Supercross Rider (#501 on a Kawasaki). Hunter spent two weeks training for the upcoming season. He rides in the 250C class and Open C, riding a 250 KTM and a 250 GasGas.
This is the second year Hunter has gone south. He went to Oklahoma last year for two weeks where he was training with pro riders there as well.
Hunter competes during the summer months all around the area.
His sponsors include: Miller Seed Farm, Northern Ag, FXR, Carver Performance, Wilson Trucking and Team Arctic Sno.
Hunter also races snowmobile during the winter months.
Of his hobbies and accomplishments, Hunter’s mom proudly shared how hard he works. “He works hard to go to these trainings. He has to get A’s in school, work at home, then work and ride all summer. Plus, it helps that he is pretty nice and kind to the younger riders. We’re really proud of him,” said Nicole.
Hunter is the son of Tony and Nicole Kiesow of rural Goodridge.
