Holiday Showcase enjoyed by many

Friday, December 1 kicked off the Christmas season in Gonvick. Clear Waters Life Center renewed the annual Holiday Showcase that had been held in the Gonvick School gym in the 90’s. It featured dinner and local talent and that is what happened on December 1.
They had an assortment of traditional international appetizers and desserts served buffet style. Clear Waters Life Center has been offering dinners on Friday night from different cultures and this replaced that for their December event.
The theater group consisting of actors from fifth grade through adult age had a variety show that included vocalists and musicians from the area.
They featured Christmas traditions of Germany, Mexico, Sweden and Norway.
A live nativity scene was outside before the events started.
