The 25th Annual Gonvick Lions Rodeo Days Parade starting off with the Welcome Banner, which was carried by Kjerstie Snyder and Alivia Lien. Kjerstie is the daughter of Pastor Kris Snyder of Samhold Lutheran Church in Gonvick. Alivia Lien is the daughter of John and Amy Lien. Gonvick’s Hair Repair and Tan rode in style during this year’s Gonvick Lions Rodeo Daze Parade. Dennis Doeden, Vickie Ambuehl, Fred Ambuehl, and Jay Forney, The “Big Bass Ramblers” performed Friday night at the Gonvick American Legion, as part of the 9th Gonvick-Trail All-School Reunion & the 25th Annual Gonvick Lions Rodeo. Mayor Lauris Krogstad is serving his 5th term as Mayor of Gonvick. Rick Forsberg is escorting him in a 1923 Ford 3-door touring car. Riding with his is his granddaughter Jayden Krogstad. James Clemenson, Emma Fawver, and Lainey Fawver entered the Kiddie Parade in Gonvick with the lamb belonging to Scott and Marnie Fawver. Brynn Hetland, Mikayla Johnson, and Brett Sundquist representing Clearwater Plumbing and Heating and Hill River Electric in the Gonvick Lions Rodeo Daze Parade. The Rude family in the old Clearbrook Fire Dept Fire truck during the parade in Gonvick. The Mounted Honor Guard carrying flags of the United States, Canada, The Gonvick Lions Club, The Lions International, and the Red Lake Nations Flag at the Gonvick Rodeo Daze Parade. Clearwater Energy Group located in Clearbrook was proud to be a participant in this year’s All-School Reunion Parade. John Watne drove one of their Peterbilt Lowboy’s, which carried a 572 Pipelayer. Clearwater Energy Group is owned by Ken & Sandy Charpentier. Don and Arvilla Wagner-Meinhart riding in a 2003 Ford Thunderbird Convertible. Arvilla and Don are from Cokato, MN. Arvilla graduated in 1957 from Gonvick. She was Champion MN 4-H Style Queen and designed her own dresses. Merlaine and Gary Evje, former band students, attended the party that was held for Betty Masoner on Sunday, July 19 in Bemidji.
