Hagen Family Scholarship now accepting applications from Grygla Students

The Larry and Ila Hagen Family Scholarship, a component fund of the Northwest Minnesota Foundation, is pleased to announce its 2019 scholarship opportunity. This program will provide a $500 scholarship to a qualified student from Independent School District #447 (Grygla Public School) or its successors who are pursuing post-secondary education through a college, university, trade school, tech school, or other accredited non-profit technical or vocational education/training institution or program.

Preference will be given to students who are pursuing agriculture related fields of study (including veterinary sciences) or aviation and whose family is involved in farming. Grades will be considered and will be a priority; a 2.0 high school cumulative grade point average is an eligibility requirement. Financial need may be considered in awarding the scholarship but is not an eligibility requirement.

The deadline to submit an application is April 15, 2019. Applications are available at the Grygla Public School.
